Neighbourhood

Situated next to the house there is a large, beautiful park with exotic and regional plants, playgrounds and water fountains. From here you can walk "out in the open" through the park to the sea.
On the nearby castle hill there is a local recreation area. In this park there are sports facilities, viewpoints and playgrounds. Besides the shady and quiet paths there are bubbling brooks.

Very easy to reach on foot or recently by tram, is the port and the port district of Nice, where amazing yachts can be admired. The harbour district (called Petit Marais) is the new in-quarter of Nice with many very good restaurants, bars and individual shops.

There are boat connections from the port to Menton, Monaco, Cannes and Saint Tropez during the season.

In the immediate surroundings there are many sights like the Museum of Modern Art (MMAC), the Palais Lascaris, baroque churches like the Cathédrale de Nice, the Opera or the Cap de Nice. The city is also famous for its nearby antique quarter (around the Rue Catherine Segurane), which shines in new splendour since the end of 2019.

The shopping streets around the Place Massena are not far away and attract with a huge variety of offers and many individually managed shops. Of course, the famous French and international luxury brands are also represented with their own boutiques.
